Become a Lactation Consultant

LactaLearning courses provide the clinical knowledge and skills lactation consultants need to effectively assist breastfeeding families. Our course options below are designed to meet every need.
Lactation Certification Courses
Confused about lactation certifications other than the IBCLC credential? Each course provider, including LactaLearning, creates its own lactation certification courses AND the unique initial designations (LCE, CLC, CBS, etc.) awarded at course completion. To compare similar courses from different providers, look for courses of similar length, for example, 95 or 45-50 hours.
Lactation Consultant Training
95-hours
Meets one requirement to take IBCLC exam or earn lactation certification.
Lactation Consultant Training

For Those Wanting the IBCLC Credential
For those who have already completed a 45-hour course, our 50-hour course provides the additional 50 hours, for a total of 95 hours, required to qualify for the IBCLC exam. Our Exam Prep course, included in the 95-hour CCLS course, offers excellent preparation for those ready to sit for the IBCLC exam.
