LactaLearning courses provide clinical knowledge and skills, and many also provide Nursing Contact Hours (see below) that healthcare providers need to effectively support breastfeeding families.

Lactation Certification Courses

Confused about lactation certifications other than the IBCLC credential? Each course provider, including LactaLearning, creates its own lactation certification courses AND the unique initial designations (LCE, CLC, CBS, etc.) awarded at course completion. To compare similar courses from different providers, look for courses of similar length, for example, 95 or 45-50 hours.

Lactation Consultant Training

Lactation Consultant Training

For institutions such as hospitals and universities, or large groups, various course pricing structures are available. Contact barbara@lactalearning.com for details.

Nursing Contact Hours

Nursing Contact Hours are approved continuing education credits for nurses. Nurses are required to earn 24 nursing contact hours every two years in the U.S. Lactation education that qualifies as nursing contact hours counts toward these 24 hours.
